Tay Hongcheng is a film editor, writer and budding filmmaker. With each film, often inspired by personal experiences, he explores different ways of storytelling.
During his undergraduate studies, he participated in the 13 Little Pictures Film Lab in conjunction with Singapore International Film Festival 2011 and several film competitions, such as The 48 Hour Film Project Singapore.
After completing his diploma in Multimedia Technology at Singapore Polytechnic in 2007, Hongcheng served as a video editor in the Singapore Armed Forces Film Unit. The training geared him for his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Filmmaking at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University.
